diagramkit

Terms of service

Last updated October 15, 2026

These terms govern your use of diagramkit. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use diagramkit for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so.

The service

diagramkit is an AI diagram builder. You describe a diagram in our web app, through our API, or from an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT through its MCP connector. diagramkit makes the diagram, stores it in your account, and lets you edit, animate, download, and share it.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use diagramkit. Give us accurate account information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account, including actions your connected AI assistants take through diagramkit. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

Plans

A Pro plan is for one person; sharing it among several people, including through a shared assistant such as Claude in Slack, needs a Team or Enterprise plan. We may limit use that harms the service or other users.

Billing, renewal, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or yearly. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal.

You can cancel at any time from your account’s billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid access until then. Payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods, unless the law requires otherwise. If you think you were charged in error, contact us.

We may change prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your next renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until it is resolved.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use diagramkit to:

Your content

You own the content you send to diagramkit, directly or through your assistant, and the diagrams made from it. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, compile, process, and display that content, only as needed to run diagramkit for you and to show your diagrams to the people you share them with. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies in backups that expire on their normal schedule.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not break these terms.

Sharing your diagrams

You are responsible for the diagrams you share and who you share them with. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law. To report a diagram that infringes your rights or is harmful, email us with a description of the problem.

Brand assets

If you upload logos, fonts, colors, or other brand assets, you confirm you have the right to use them, and that any font license allows this use. When a brand names a Google Fonts family, we download it from Google Fonts under that font’s license.

AI-generated output

Diagrams are made by AI models. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Check important details before you rely on or share a diagram. You are responsible for how you use the output.

Third-party services

diagramkit works with AI assistants and other services we do not control, such as Claude and ChatGPT. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for their availability, output, or actions.

Availability and changes

We work to keep diagramkit available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add, or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.

Termination

You can stop using diagramkit at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use creates risk for us or others, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will tell you first. When your account ends, your diagrams are deleted. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity, continue to apply.

Disclaimers

diagramkit is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, diagramkit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100 USD. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify diagramkit against claims, losses, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your content, your brand assets, or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes about these terms, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the service before it takes effect. If you keep using diagramkit after that, you accept the new terms. The date at the top shows when the terms last changed.
